Depending on the service you have requested within Pup Pup Foods, It is sometimes necessary for us to work with a third party outside of the UK and the European Economic Area (the EEA) and for personal data to be collected outside of the UK and the EEA. This will only occur when service providers to our business operation are located outside the EEA.

Where we engage with third parties who could hold personal information on our behalf outside of the UK and the European Economic Area (the EEA), they do so within the required regulations under the data protection laws.

When this is required in order to provide you with the service requested through Pup Pup Foods Ltd. we will ensure that our third-party provider has covered all steps in accordance to being fully compliant with the data protection laws and all personal information will be secure.

We only work with trusted third party providers outside of the EEA that are compliant with GDPR laws and have the security measures to protect your personal information and do not use this information for anything other than to provide you with the service requested through PupPup Foods Ltd.

Storage and Retention:

We use service providers based around the world. Consequently, your personal data may be processed in countries outside of Europe, including in countries where you may have fewer legal rights in respect of your data than you do under local law. (USA) If we transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area we will, as required by applicable law, ensure that your privacy rights are adequately protected by appropriate safeguards, in particular the EU’s standard contractual clauses.

We will keep your personal data for as long as we need it for the purposes set out above, and so this period will vary depending on your interactions with us. For example, where you have made a purchase with us, we will keep a record of your purchase for the period necessary for invoicing, and tax purposes. 

We may also keep a record of correspondence with you (for example if you have made a complaint about a product) for as long as is necessary to protect us from a legal claim. Where we no longer have a need to keep your information, we will delete it. Please note that where you unsubscribe from our marketing communications, we will keep a record of your email address to ensure we do not send you marketing emails in future.

Consumer Rights: 

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request access to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.

You have the right to withdraw consent, for example, if you have already given consent and then later wish to withdraw, it would still not affect the processing we would have already carried out with your consent. Furthermore, this does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. If the reason for withdrawal was marketing related then we can still reserve the right to maintain suppression or do not contact [or profile] list which record you do not wish to be contacted. This is in line with regulatory guidance and best practice. If you withdraw your consent for any marketing purposes, we will still use your contact details for service messages or compliance purposes, eg to contact you about your orders or to handle complaints.

The right to be forgotten would result in us erasing personal data held by us about you. This right would only apply in circumstances where we no longer needed the personal data obtained to achieve the purpose we initially collected it for. 

 A right for you not to be subject to automated profiling which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you. 

A right to portability would result in a circumstance where a right to receive personal data, which you have provided to us, in a machine-readable format. This right will only apply where the processing is based on consent or a contract (see above) and the processing is carried out by automated means. You also have the right to require us to transfer this personal data to another organisation, at your request. 

Finally, you have the right to object. Your right to object to marketing purposes, including communications and related profiling described above is absolute. 

Our site may occasionally contain links to websites of our affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own consent procedures, for marketing or the sending of cookies as well as their own privacy policies. We do not control the processing or cookie-related activities of third parties.
